Psychotherapy
What is psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a space where you can come to discuss any difficulties you may be having in your life. It is a safe confidential space that is dedicated to you only. Every individual will use the space differently and it is an opportunity to get to know yourself better and become more connected to yourself.
What can psychotherapy help with?
- Learning to build trusting and caring relationships
- Break down experiences of oppression and work through identity issues
- Working through past traumas and gaining greater clarity of mind
- Gaining freedom from your inner critic and prioritising self care
- Growing self-awareness to assist you with emotional regulation
- Beginning to make behavioural changes in areas of your life you would like to improve on
- Working through fear of conflict
- Building confidence, self-love and self-empowerment

My Practice

I believe psychotherapy is a process of discovering the layers of your heart that have been buried, it is about a coming home to yourself, again and again. My training is integrative, and this reflects the approach I take with clients. There is no one size fits all, and I am passionate about meeting each individual where they are, working at an intuitive level. It is my experience that we each hold the answers we seek, but doing it alone is exhausting and deflating. As humans, we need one another, we need to lean on each other and be witnessed in our experience, in our pain. I offer a space that gives you the unique opportunity to be seen, providing a platform for growth and self-love.

I am trauma-informed in the work I do and work deeply with clients to identify what wounds are holding them back in life, helping them to lean into the pain so it can receive the attention it needs to heal. We are taught to avoid or fix our pain, this is a misguided myth; in this context of therapy, the solution is in building enough trust in the therapeutic relationship to make space for the grief to breathe. In doing this inner freedom is enabled. It's hard work, but it's heart work, and I am here to guide and walk alongside you in this process.
I work with a wide variety of issues, including but not limited to: abuse (including narcissistic abuse), sexual trauma, racial trauma and identity, depression, empath and HSP (highly sensitive people) challenges, eco/poly-crisis distress, activist burnout, LGBTQ+ (including gender dysphoria and transitioning), life transitions, generational trauma, divorce, relationship issues, codependency, low self-esteem, stress, bereavement, inner child work, sex and love addiction, anxiety and more.

I offer a sliding scale pay it forward scheme to help grow a low-cost clinic for those in need. My sliding scale is £80-£120, whatever you can afford on this scale is absolutely fine. I ask that clients choose a fee that would be sustainable and manageable for weekly sessions. There is the option to do fortnightly sessions, however I would usually advise at least two months of weekly sessions before undergoing fortnightly sessions as a lot can surface emotionally in the initial instance. The fee for fortnightly sessions is £100-£150 sliding scale.
